How to use Virtual Job Shadow

First time logging in:

Type the URL into your browser---> www.virtualjobshadow.com

At the top right corner of the page, you will see a blue button that says “LOGIN,” click it. 

A new box will appear that says “Login: Search For Your License,” click the search bar that says “Search for school, district, or organization to begin.”

Begin typing “Potterville Adult Education” into the search bar.

After you have entered four characters, “Potterville Adult Education” will appear in the drop down menu.  Click it.  

A login box with a username and password will appear along with a box that says “Potterville Adult Education.” Your username is your first and last name.  It will be typed in all lowercase letters and will not have any spaces.  Enter your username.  

Next, you will be required to enter a password.  Your password is “shadow.” (The password is all in lowercase letters as well.)

Enter all of this information, then click “submit.” 

Getting Started: Begin Completing Your Assignments
In the top right corner of the screen, you will see a number of headings.  These headings are what you will use to navigate nearly every feature that Virtual Job Shadow offers.  The headings you will see are: Careers, Colleges, Jobs, Tools, and My Assignments. 

Click on the “My Assignments” heading.  Here, you can see all of the assignments that you will have to complete during your time here with us at Potterville Adult Education.  You can work your way through the assignments in any order, but I recommend going through them in the order that they are numbered.
